Stuck on a step? Here are the usual fixes.
A step won't turn green
Meta can take a minute to sync a change. Wait, then hit Recheck setup again. Steps like connecting Instagram to your Page often need a second recheck.
"Reconnect Meta" appeared
Your Meta login expired. Click Reconnect and sign in again, your setup and any live campaigns stay intact.
My Instagram won't link
Make sure it's switched to Business or Creator first, then link it to the Page (not the other way around). A personal Instagram can't connect.
I don't see my ad account
It has to live inside your Business Portfolio. Open business.facebook.com/settings, then Ad accounts, and confirm it's there and active.
Meta rejected my ad
Meta reviews every ad, usually within an hour. A rejection is almost always the creative or the text, not your account. Common triggers: copyrighted clips you don't own, "before and after" or guaranteed-result claims, "free" with strings attached, or anything that looks like it's impersonating a brand. Fix the ad and resubmit, or request a review inside Meta. One rejected ad doesn't affect the rest of your campaign.
