Víctor Manuelle released La parranda es nuestra, his fourth Christmas album, on Friday, October 23, 2026. The 12-song set brings in Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Nieves, José Alberto "El Canario," Elvis Crespo, Joseph Fonseca and Alfonso Vélez, and it is built around the Puerto Rican diaspora.
The salsero told EFE the record is rooted in the season's traditions. "Es tradición, es cultura, es la esencia de lo que es nuestra Navidad," he said, according to the Infobae republication of the agency's report.
The songs and the guests
The album includes 2026 versions of "Quiero parranda," "Ya se ven las bombillitas," "Yo me voy para mi tierra" and "Los polvos del Sahara." Those are standards of the Puerto Rican Christmas repertoire, the kind of songs played at parrandas and family gatherings from late fall into January.
Manuelle has named "Yo me voy para mi tierra" as his favorite. It follows Ramón, an emigrant who never makes it back to the island, according to Metro Puerto Rico. That story frames the album's focus on Puerto Ricans living away from home.
Asked how he assembled the guest list, Manuelle kept it simple. "Es cuestión de levantar el teléfono," he said, per the same Noticias SIN coverage of the interview. Santa Rosa, Nieves and El Canario are among the most recognized voices in salsa, so the lineup gives the record weight beyond a single artist's catalog.
Premiere and context
Manuelle premiered "La gozadera en Navidad" with Elvis Crespo at the Billboard Latin Music Awards gala on Thursday, October 22, the night before the album came out.
This is his fourth Christmas project. Last year's La parranda es mía was a Billboard finalist for tropical album of the year. The new title answers it directly, moving from "mine" to "ours," and the diaspora theme matches that shift.
The late-October release lands ahead of parranda season in Puerto Rico, where Christmas music starts early. The album is also aimed at listeners off the island, for whom these songs often carry the strongest tie to home.
No concert dates tied to the album have been announced. La parranda es nuestra is out now, and the sources do not name a label.
