Daddy Yankee releases LA POSTAL, 15 love songs with De La Rose and Myke Towers

Daddy Yankee released LA POSTAL on October 30, 2026 through DY Records, a 15-track album he describes as his first concept album. The project is built around love in three forms: between partners, within the family, and toward yourself. It arrives about a year after LAMENTO EN BAILE, his October 2025 release.

The lead single is "BOTZ (Bésame Otra VeZ)," which has a video directed by STILLZ. The full tracklist is on Apple Music.

Guests and production

The album carries six named collaborations, according to coverage in Primera Hora:

• Bizarrap on "PA' QUE LLORAR"
• Cardi B on "COSITA"
• Danny Ocean on "ALFOMBRA VOLADORA"
• De La Rose on "ENAWO"
• Diljit Dosanjh on "POKITO"
• Myke Towers on "SE VA"

Yankee says he recorded "POKITO" with Dosanjh face to face in Puerto Rico. Dosanjh is a Punjabi artist, which puts an India-based star on a record that otherwise leans on Puerto Rican, Argentine and Colombian names. Myke Towers, from Puerto Rico, is the island's most direct presence among the guests.

The family credit is the other local thread. His son, Jeremy Ayala González, produced a large part of the album, as reported by El Nuevo Día.

What he said about the concept

In his press statement, carried by Metro Puerto Rico, Yankee said he wanted to tell the real story of love. The headline of that coverage uses the line "Quería contar la historia real del amor."

That framing explains the album's scope. Rather than a set of romance songs, the 15 tracks are meant to cover love as it shows up in a couple, in a household and in how a person treats themselves.

Where it stands

The album is out now on streaming platforms. No tour or live show tied to LA POSTAL has been announced.
