Puerto Rican reggaetonero Brray released KOBE BRRAY: 8 on November 6, 2026, a 12-track album recorded entirely in Los Angeles.

Puerto Rican reggaetonero Brray released KOBE BRRAY: 8 on November 6, 2026, a 12-track album recorded entirely in Los Angeles. The project came out through Universal Music Latino, according to the label credit on Apple Music, and pairs West Coast hip-hop production with a reggaeton core. Some outlets write the title as Kobe Brray 8, while the cover styles it in capitals.

The record is built around the discipline of Kobe Bryant, the theme his team put at the center of the rollout, as Noticias SIN reported in its coverage of the release. Brray has not given a direct quote in any of the reports reviewed for this story, so the account of the album's intent comes from his team's statement, not from the artist himself.

Features and focus track

Three guests appear on the album. Juanka is on "Conversaciones de esquina," Jovaan is on "Reencuentro," and Fanta Rosario is on "Angelica." The tracklist and cover were detailed by iPauta.

"Angelica" with Fanta Rosario is the focus track and has the official video. Juanka's presence ties the album to the Puerto Rican urban scene, while Jovaan and Fanta Rosario fill out the rest of the guest list.

The Los Angeles sessions

All 12 songs were made in Los Angeles, which explains the sound. Coverage from Revista Crónicas describes the mix as hip-hop and reggaeton, with West Coast production layered under a Puerto Rican reggaeton base. The move to the city was part of how the project was framed to the press, as Ey Boricua noted in its report on the album.

The album's title points to Bryant's number 8, one of the two jerseys he wore with the Los Angeles Lakers. La Esquina 506 presented the release as the start of what it called Brray's most ambitious era.

Where to listen

The full album is available now on streaming platforms through Universal Music Latino, including Apple Music. The video for "Angelica" is the official visual tied to the release.

No tour dates for the project had been announced in the coverage reviewed at the time of writing.
