Hosting an event in VRChat

VRChat is a free social VR app where artists and creators host virtual sets, listening parties, and fan hangs in custom 3D worlds. BCKSTG treats a VRChat world like any other venue: same event card, same date, same RSVP, same SMS reminder. The link just points to your world instead of a ticket page.

Add a VRChat event

  1. Open Tour Dates in your dashboard and add a new event (or edit an existing one).
  2. In the Ticket URL field, paste your VRChat world link. It looks like vrchat.com/home/world/wrld_… or vrchat.com/home/launch?worldId=….
  3. Save.

As soon as we detect a VRChat URL we show you a small confirmation under the field so you know fans will see Join in VRChat instead of Grab Tix.

What fans see

On your public page and your tour smart link, the event card renders the same way as any other show, with one difference. The big call-to-action reads Join in VRChat and uses VRChat cyan instead of the pink Grab Tix button. The same swap happens on the per-date row in tour mode.

Fans without a VRChat account land on the world's public page where VRChat shows screenshots and a Launch in VRChat button. Fans who already have the app open straight into your world.

Add VRChat to your social links

If you also want a permanent VRChat link on your profile (separate from any specific event), open Social Links and add VRChat from the platform list. You can paste a profile URL, a world URL, or a group URL. All three render with the VRChat logo on your fan page.

Tips

  • Use the event flyer field for a screenshot of your world or your avatar so the event card has art.
  • Set a real door time. Even virtual sets benefit from a clear start time, and the SMS reminder respects it.
  • For hybrid events where some fans buy tickets and others join in VRChat, create two events on the same date: one with the Ticketmaster URL, one with the VRChat URL.
  • VRChat does not let us verify your identity over there. The link is trust-based, same as your Instagram or TikTok link.
