What is the Spotify Popularity Score?
Every track, album, and artist on Spotify has a popularity score from 0 to 100. The score reflects recent streaming activity, weighted toward what is happening now, not your all-time total.
Where to find it
Open your dashboard, go to Releases, and pick the Popularity tab. Your artist-level score sits at the top. Below it, every release you have connected to Spotify shows its current score, trend direction, and a 30-day chart.
What the score means
- 0-20 Limited activity. Few recent streams.
- 21-40 Building. Some traction, not yet in algorithmic playlists.
- 41-60 Active. Consistent play.
- 61-80 Strong. Significant streaming volume.
- 81-100 Peak. Major chart-level activity.
What you need
- Your Spotify artist link added in your social links.
- Each release you want tracked needs a Spotify URL.
- Pro plan.
