Quiet Hours, Fan Timezone Respect

Quiet Hours

BCKSTG holds your sends to fans between 10PM and 8AM in each fan's local timezone. When their day starts, the queue drains automatically.

How it works

  • We capture each fan's timezone when they subscribe (geocoded from their location).
  • If you fire a blast at 9PM and a fan in Los Angeles is on PST, the send waits until 8AM PT in their morning.
  • A fan in New York on the same blast goes out immediately, they're inside the awake window.
  • Held emails to the SAME fan during the same overnight window get bundled into ONE digest in the morning instead of stacking six separate notifications.

What you don't have to do

Nothing. Quiet Hours runs automatically on every fan-facing send (blasts, auto-notifications, release radar). You don't schedule anything.

Override

There is no override. If you need a fan to receive something IMMEDIATELY across all timezones, that's a different feature (we don't currently expose one, by design, fan rest matters).
