BCKSTG holds your sends to fans between 10PM and 8AM in each fan's local timezone. When their day starts, the queue drains automatically.
How it works
- We capture each fan's timezone when they subscribe (geocoded from their location).
- If you fire a blast at 9PM and a fan in Los Angeles is on PST, the send waits until 8AM PT in their morning.
- A fan in New York on the same blast goes out immediately, they're inside the awake window.
- Held emails to the SAME fan during the same overnight window get bundled into ONE digest in the morning instead of stacking six separate notifications.
- Texts are never combined. Held texts go out one at a time at 8AM.
What you don't have to do
Nothing. Quiet Hours runs automatically on every fan-facing send (blasts, auto-notifications, release radar). You don't schedule anything.
Override
There is no override. If you need a fan to receive something IMMEDIATELY across all timezones, that's a different feature (we don't currently expose one, by design, fan rest matters).
