When you send a blast, your emails and texts go out from BCKSTG in the background. You do not have to sit and wait, and you can leave the page. Here is what to expect.
Emails go out fast, usually within a few minutes.
Texts
Texts go out a bit at a time, so a large list can take a while, sometimes a few hours. This is normal and it is on purpose. Phone companies only accept texts at a steady pace, so we send them in a steady stream instead of all at once. Sending them this way is what keeps them landing with your fans instead of getting blocked.
Checking on a send
Open Guest List, then the Messages tab. A blast that is still going shows Sending... with a rough time estimate. You will also get a notification the moment it finishes.
Stopping a send
If you need to stop a blast that is still going, open it under Messages and tap Cancel remaining. Anything that already went out cannot be pulled back, but everything still waiting will stop. If it was a text, the credits for the texts that did not go out are returned to you.
Quiet hours
We never text a fan in the middle of their night. Anyone in quiet hours, 10 PM to 8 AM their local time, gets their text first thing in the morning where they are.
