Inbox is where fans who text your number reach you, and where you text them back, one to one. It lives under Audience in your dashboard, right next to your Guest List.
Getting your own number
Two-way texting needs your own number. Open Inbox (or the SMS card in your Guest List) and request one. We set it up and let you know when it is live. No charge until your number is active.
Reading and replying
When a fan texts your number, the message lands in Inbox and your notification bell lights up. Open the conversation and type back like any text thread. Your replies send from your number, so the fan sees you, not a shortcode. Each reply uses one message credit.
Who you can text
You can only reply to fans who texted you first, and never to someone who has opted out. That keeps you on the right side of the rules and keeps your number healthy. A small tag on each conversation shows whether the fan is still opted in.
Reply from your phone
You do not have to be at your desk. In Inbox settings, turn on Reply from your phone and add your personal number. New fan texts forward to you, and you reply with your PIN followed by your message. We send it to the fan from your number. Without the PIN nothing sends, so a wrong number can never text your fans.
Credits
Replies use the same message credits as your blasts. If you run low, top up from your Guest List.
