Once your domain is connected through BCKSTG, you can route email on that domain to your favorite provider in two clicks. Open Dashboard, Domain, and scroll to "Connect your email".

What we support

Google Workspace, $6 per user per month. The standard for music industry email.
Microsoft 365, $6 per user per month. Outlook lineage.
Fastmail, $3 per user per month. Independent, simple, ad-free.
Email forwarding, free. Anything at yourdomain forwards to an inbox you already have (Gmail, your work email, anywhere).

We do not charge for connecting any of these. The cost is whatever the provider charges, paid to them directly.

Picking a provider

Pick the icon. We tell you exactly what records we'll write.

Google, Microsoft, and Fastmail need a verification token from their setup wizard before mail starts flowing. You sign up at their website (admin.google.com, admin.microsoft.com, fastmail.com), they hand you a code, you paste it here, we write the rest of the records. You finish setup on their side.

Forwarding is the simplest one. You give us an existing inbox to forward to, we set it up immediately. Reply addresses still come from your existing inbox.

What we write

We write the MX records (where mail gets delivered), SPF (which servers are allowed to send for you), and DKIM (cryptographic signing). The list is shown to you before we write anything.

For Microsoft and Fastmail there is an additional step because their MX or DKIM values are tied to your tenant. Paste the values they give you, we write the rest.

We do not read your email

We write the DNS records that route mail to your provider. We do not run a mail server, we do not see your inbox, we do not store messages. The provider you pick (Google, Microsoft, Fastmail, or your forwarding target) sees those emails per their own privacy policy.

When your inbox is live

After we write the records, the panel shows "PENDING MX". We check live every six hours. When MX is detected, it flips to "MX LIVE" in green. You usually see this within 30 minutes on Google and Microsoft, within an hour on Fastmail, within a few minutes on forwarding.

Switching providers

You can switch later. We replace the records cleanly. There is a transition window (usually under an hour) where mail in flight may bounce, so do not switch during a launch window.
