Your Press Kit page
Your press kit lives at bckstg.co/your-name/epk. It is a live page, not a PDF, so an agent, a manager or a label always sees what BCKSTG has today.
Open Dashboard → Press Kit to edit it. The editor is the kit itself with editing turned on, so there is nothing to set up anywhere else.
Who can see it
The kit is private until you press Publish, and after that it asks for a passcode. The share link you copy from the editor carries the passcode, so the people you send it to never type anything. Anyone who lands on the bare address is asked for it.
New passcode makes every old link stop working. Use it after a round of pitches.
What BCKSTG fills in
- Numbers and Socials come from Pulse, updated weekly.
- Upcoming and Past shows come from your Tour Dates and from Bandsintown when it is connected. Bandsintown is checked once a day. A show you already entered gets its missing details filled in.
- Top tracks are your three most played, from Pulse. Pick up to three releases under the covers to show instead.
- Live shows your live set, picked from the YouTube links under Moments, Featured Content, plus the music videos on your releases.
- Releases, bio, contacts and photo come from your profile.
The Sources board at the top of the editor shows each connection, when it last updated and which sections it feeds. Connect Bandsintown right there. The rest connect from Integrations.
What only you can add
- A one-line pitch under your name.
- On any past date: where you were on the bill (headline, support, festival slot and more), the kind of room (club, theater, arena, warehouse and more), capacity and tickets sold.
- Shows from before BCKSTG. Add them yourself or pick them from your Bandsintown history.
- Festivals and support slots: which festivals you played, who you opened for.
- Press quotes, with the outlet.
- Your own social numbers when they are newer than Pulse, with the date.
- A territory for each booking contact, and a long bio plus a Spanish bio.
- Landscape and square press photos, a tech rider and a stage plot.
Past shows
Shows from the last 90 days are on the kit by default. Older shows are off. Pin a show and it stays on the kit no matter how old it is. Untick anything you would rather not show.
When the kit and your profile disagree
Bio, contacts and dates are shared with your public page. Change a contact on the kit and the editor asks whether to update both or keep it on the kit only. A contact kept on the kit only is marked, so you always know where the two differ.
Saving and publishing
Changes save when you leave a field and show on the kit right away. Publish opens the kit to the people you share it with. Before that, only you can see it. Preview opens the kit the way a visitor sees it. PDF downloads a one-sheet built from the same data.
Who opened it
The Views cell on the Sources board shows this week's opens and downloads. See log lists each one with the date and city, plus any wrong passcode attempts.
