For auto-notifications (releases, tour dates, festivals, merch), pick Email, SMS, or Both for each type. The setting is in Guest List → Tools → Auto-Notify Settings and covers your whole list.
Types you can configure
- Releases, new release goes live.
- Tour dates, a new show within 50 miles of the fan. Fans with no location on file hear about every new show.
- Festivals, festival lineup or sub-event posted.
- Merch, new merch drop.
Each type has its own channel pick. For example, Releases by SMS and Tour dates by Email.
One message per fan
When a type is set to SMS or Both, fans who opted into texts get the text and everyone else gets the email. Each fan gets one message per update.
When a text can't go out
Texts go first when you pick SMS or Both. Any fan a text can't reach gets the email instead: no phone on file, not opted in to texts, not covered by your credits, or the text fails.
Quiet Hours still apply
Auto-notifications respect each fan's quiet hours, 10 PM to 8 AM their time. Anything that would land in that window waits until 8 AM where the fan is.
