Auto-Notify Channel Choice
For super-fan auto-notifications (releases, tour dates, festivals, merch, live), pick Email, SMS, or Both per notification type. The setting lives on each super-fan row in Guest List.
Types you can configure
- Releases, new release goes live.
- Tour Dates, new show announced.
- Festivals, festival lineup or sub-event posted.
- Merch, new merch drop.
- Live, you start streaming.
Each type has its own channel pick. A fan could get Releases via SMS, Tour Dates via Both, and Live via Email, your call (or theirs, depending on how you configure it).
SMS-wins dedup
If you fire an auto-notification to a fan opted into Both, BCKSTG sends the SMS and skips the duplicate email. They get one message, not two. The dedup runs per notification, so the SAME fan still gets the release via SMS and a later tour-date update via Both (one SMS + one email, different notifications).
Quiet Hours still apply
Auto-notifications respect each fan's 10PM-8AM quiet window. A release notification fired at 11PM Eastern will land in Pacific Time fans' inboxes at 8AM their time.
